Shoulder Pain Treatment in Andover – Expert Physiotherapy, Massage & Rehabilitation
Why do you need physiotherapy?
Shoulder pain can limit your daily activities and impact your quality of life. Whether caused by rotator cuff injuries, frozen shoulder, bursitis, tendonitis, or arthritis, early and expert treatment is essential to reduce pain, restore movement, and prevent long-term problems. At Emily the Physio, our experienced physiotherapists in Andover use evidence-based treatment techniques tailored to your specific shoulder condition. While physiotherapy focuses on improving shoulder strength, flexibility, and function, therapeutic massage can be a useful complementary treatment to relieve muscle tension and reduce pain symptoms, helping you feel more comfortable throughout your recovery.

Our approach to post knee surgery rehabilitation
What happens in a session
In your first session, you’ll meet with a skilled physiotherapist who will carefully listen to your concerns and medical history. They will perform a detailed assessment, including physical tests to identify the cause of your shoulder pain. Treatment begins right away, with a focus on manual therapy, guided exercises, and if appropriate, therapeutic massage to ease muscle tightness and discomfort. Visited Emily on 27th July – I cannot recommend highly enough!
I had a shoulder injury that had been troubling me for over 4 weeks. The appointment was in Andover which was very convenient for me and at relatively short notice for Emily.
She listened very carefully to what I had done to cause the injury, and proceeded to examine my shoulder thoroughly whilst both explaining what she was doing as well as explaining many concepts of physiotherapy which was great.
I immediately felt some relief during the appointment when the joint was massaged. Emily provided me a tailored diagnosis and recovery plan which was easy to understand and has given me back some of my confidence since the injury.
I was especially impressed when Emily offered to answer my concerns post appointment by email or phone.
Emily’s knowledge and skill is excellent in my opinion as is the pleasant environment the appointment took place in. Fully recommended.
